The splintering of society with its many divisions will be remedied by small acts done by ordinary people.
The news today was all about protests, violence, corruption, scandal and greed.
Yet outside of the media spotlight, a number of people across the country, set aside their differences to pray.
What do a Muslim, Jew and Christian have in common today in Dallas?
Hosted by the Thanks-giving foundation we met for the 43rd National day of prayer luncheon.
Personally, it was incredible to hear David Brooks share his thoughts on the power of prayer to transform the heart as we give thanks to God and recover the kindness lost in society today.
A profoundly caring community will only happen through prayer accompanied by small acts done by ordinary people.
