Art and Leadership: The Dallas Art Fair

I found myself at the Dallas Art Fair this weekend.
The art world, like the realm of leadership, is full of strong convictions—not all of them entirely sensible.
But the best artists, like the best leaders, don’t simply follow the well-worn path of conventional thinking. They press forward, grounded in their vision, even when others question their direction.
The truly gifted artists weren’t just tossing paint around. They showed:
a) Commitment.
B) Belief
C) Trust in their process
Even when, to a casual observer, it all looked a bit chaotic.
And the impact?
They didn’t timidly suggest interpretation—they revealed truth.
That, in both leadership and faith, is what separates the transformative from the transactional. It’s not just about management strategies—it’s about cultivating a vision that stirs devotion.
So I’ll leave you with this: art might shape your leadership more than another corporate retreat ever could.
